Our therapist Chalalai Taesilapasathit is a licensed clinical psychologist, registered under the division of medical registration, Ministry of Public Health Thailand. Chalalai was awarded a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical psychology and a Master’s Degree in Forensic psychology.
Before joining Bangkok Counselling Service, Chalalai worked for The Center for the Protection of Children’s Rights Foundation and King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital.
Chalalai works with adults and children with an interest in supporting those with family issues who struggle with the development of attachment between parent and child.
Chalalai has a particular interest in perinatal-infant mental health which was reinforced when she noticed the lack of resources for women like herself at such a crucial point in time. Making the most of covid lockdown Chalalai undertook specialist training in perinatal-infant mental health and will lead our new service prioritizing the wellbeing of those in the various stages from pre pregnancy to post-partum and everything in between providing counselling and emotional support to parents and those that need to talk.
Chalalai incorporates techniques and principles of Psychodynamic development and the Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) into her work with clients. Her qualifications and training include:
