Boom joins Bangkok Counselling Service team as our ‘Client Support Coordinator’ responsible for client contact correspondence and appointments and rescheduling when needed. Boom is the first point of contact and she will support you through your time with the service. She will respond to all your correspondence within 24 hours, she manages the appointments system booking appointments and is the person to contact if you are going to be late or need to contact your therapist on the day of your appointment. She takes payments and issues tax invoice receipts. She is the liaison between you and your therapist between sessions.
Boom earned her Bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Psychology from Mahidol University International College. She gained valuable experience both academic and practical from volunteering for UNHCR. She completed her Independent Study on Stigmatization of mental illness among Thai students.
Boom's background in International Studies and Psychology gives her a good understanding of the issues clients come to counselling to talk about. She understands the importance of confidentiality in all aspects of the service, her ability to reassure new clients that communicate with Bangkok Counselling Service that they can expect and will receive the highest standard of professionalism in all aspects of the service.
